My goodness, it's been a while since I stared at a blank draft. Back in August, I decided to take a photo every day for the month. Honestly, it burned me out on photography and blogging. Every day was the same thing - struggling to find something interesting enough to use as a subject, something besides my cat or the flowers in the back yard. The struggle was/is real, ya'll. Truth is, some days are just boring. Some days are just spent at home drinking coffee and reading a good book. It may not translate into an interesting picture, but these days are definitely some of my favorite days.
I hope to get back into the "swing of things" soon, but I gotta say...I'm seriously lacking inspiration. What do you guys do to keep going?

Such an adorable mug! Lazy days of coffee and reading sound perfect right now. I find inspiration from spur-of-the-moment road trips and Pinterest. hehe :)

love the mug and glad to hear from you! i usually take a stroll around the town and take pictures. visit old or new place. come to a place in the area that i've never been before or come to an area that i'm familiar with, even. doing some people watching, taking pictures and keep walking. and i also drive around the town when i feel like i need a fresh air. i hope you find your inspiration back

lacking inspiration is the WORST!
i would suggest following some blog prompts (kiki - in its time) has a good link for one on her post today.

also, just take the pressure off. when we start pressuring ourselves to have "good content" it just doesn't happen.
write about your life, what you're feeling, how things are going, etc. remind yourself why you started blogging and it should start flowing!

I'm so sorry, girl!!! Blogging is so fun, but burn out NEVER is! :(

My biggest inspirations come from life - what I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...I'll hear an idea and a blog post is born.

Some other great things (which you have to be careful to not feel like you HAVE to do them) are link ups.

And finally, commenting on other blogs. I can't tell you how many of my posts are born as I sit commenting on someone else's blog.

I hope you get the FUN in blogging back!
