Amy's Frankly Friday post today truly inspired me. I am one of the world's worst when it comes to focusing on the negative and looking past the positive. Today, I've decided to follow Amy's idea and post things that bring me joy!
- I am thankful that no matter how far I wander, no matter how far I stray, a gracious and loving God is always there for me. I am grateful that He never gives up on me, even at my absolute worst.
- I am thankful for coffee on cool mornings before work, and even MORE thankful for coffee and a good book for mornings when I don't have to work!
- I am thankful for Godly parents that brought me up in faith. Other people have called me sheltered, but I am truly grateful to my parents for raising me as they did. I would not change a single thing about my childhood.
- I am thankful for my seven off days that I get every other week. I would not make it through the seven days I work without the promise of seven off!
- I am thankful for spring and the rejuvenated hope that it brings out in me. I love the crisp sunny days, filled with cloudless skies and so many different flowers. I struggle deciding whether fall or spring is my favorite season.
What are YOU thankful for today?
4 lovely notes:
I love these. It's so important to be thankful and to take extra time to thank God for what He's given us!
1. My brother in law
2. My sisters
3. Powdered donuts
4. Power tools... they make decorating my room way more B-A! Haha
5. A cozy bed at the end of a long day
<3's! Have a fabulous weekend my dear :)
can't be more agree about coffee!!!!
yes for cups of coffee.
i've been through difficult times for these past months. i try to have positive outlook through it all, because i believe that in the end it's gonna be okay. we're gonna be okay :)
It's so stupid when people call you sheltered. Some of the people who say that are the ones who end up using drugs and having four or more kids from three different partners. If being "sheltered" kept me out of situations like that, fine with me!
LOVE this list!
God, Christian up-bringing, coffee, vacay, etc.
{umm i totally want a week off! ha}
<3
Great list girl, keep listing out your joys and thanksgiving! It definitely helps to shape a more joyful perspective!
